As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for drafting quarterly and annual financial reports, including MD&A and press releases for the two public companies. You will review financial and non-financial documents, validating the information disclosed.
You will also coordinate work with external graphic designers to create visuals for financial reports. You will participate in the review of other financial documents, such as the investor fact sheet and investor presentations.
In collaboration with the Director, Financial Reporting, you will analyze and apply new securities regulations. You will also be involved in the analysis and disclosure of sustainability information, applying IFRS and other requirements in partnership with the Sustainability team.
Finally, you will contribute to the preparation of documents for the Boards of Auditors and Directors, and participate in the review of consolidated financial statements, as well as in the analysis of the impact of new accounting standards. You will interact with various departments to support internal projects and initiatives, as well as taking part in special projects.
CPA with a minimum of 5 years' experience, including several years in financial reporting, particularly for public companies. The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with current financial standards. You are a team player, able to work effectively in a team where mutual aid and collaboration are at the heart of the approach.
Your thoroughness and attention to detail are essential, as you will be responsible for producing published financial reports, where attention to detail is paramount. You enjoy “getting your hands dirty” and are comfortable with demanding public reporting tasks. Autonomous, resourceful and quality-conscious, you bring great value to the team by guaranteeing accurate results.
