As a Manager Controller, you will be responsible for supervising and managing an accounting team of 6 resources, focusing on their professional development and ensuring their ability to meet daily challenges. You will ensure effective team management while maintaining a collaborative environment and fostering the skill development of your colleagues.
You will also manage the daily accounting for a portfolio of clients, optimizing the use of the company's automated systems. With the support of a technician for recurring tasks, you will ensure precise and smooth management of accounting processes. You will prepare the financial reports necessary for managing the business, enabling your clients to make informed and strategic decisions.
Your role will also involve assisting your business clients in analyzing their financial reports and managing their various accounting needs. You will be their main point of contact, providing tailored advice to address their financial challenges. Additionally, you will collaborate with legal and HR teams to support your clients in executing their growth projects, offering them a comprehensive and personalized service.
Bilingual CPA with at least 8 years of significant experience in accounting, including 4 years in both public practice and industry. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates proven expertise in team management, supervising and supporting the development of the skills of the employees under their responsibility.
This manager/controller must be able to take on their responsibilities independently, with effective priority management and great resourcefulness in solving complex accounting issues. They must possess excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to simplifying complex financial information to help clients make informed decisions. A strong sense of organization will also be essential to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
