Our client, a private company in the financial sector, is looking for a Financial Manager to play a key role in the success of its projects by directly contributing to the strategy. You will report to a manager who keeps her door open and highly values teamwork. She is always available for questions. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment, where you can not only leverage your financial skills but also develop new expertise. The position is offered remotely.
As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment and efficiency of financial operations for companies based in Latin America. You will work closely with the financial directors of these companies to streamline financial processes, standardize reporting formats, and optimize the monthly close processes. You will also implement rigorous financial controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability across the entire portfolio.
Your role will include improving the budgeting and forecasting capabilities of the portfolio companies, ensuring that forecasts align with the financial objectives of the fund. You will provide forward-looking financial data to facilitate informed decision-making and support local teams in preparing reliable budgets, in compliance with institutional standards.
An essential part of your mission will be to train, coach, and empower local financial teams. You will ensure that they become sufficiently independent in managing their finances while staying aligned with the fund’s strategic priorities. You will also encourage the sharing of best practices and knowledge across the portfolio companies to strengthen collective financial expertise.
In parallel, you will provide strategic financial analysis to support decisions at the fund level and within portfolio companies. You will prepare and present regular reports to the CFO and the management committee, ensuring clarity and consistency. Finally, you will collaborate with the financial directors of the portfolio companies to ensure optimal project management and facilitate their potential long-term sale.
If you are motivated by challenges and want to play a key role in optimizing the financial management of a growing company, this position is perfect for you!
