Description
Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company specializing in business support and consulting across various sectors, is looking for a Director of Accounting Operations to join its team. This company works with clients from multiple industries and stands out by using innovative technologies that automate accounting and manage finances remotely. As the Director of Accounting Operations, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, business continuity, and assessing client needs to propose complementary services. You will also work with the team to maximize internal sales and collaborate with the sales department to improve the service offering.
You will oversee the profitability of the accounting department and implement action plans and budgets for onboarding new clients. You will coordinate the necessary resources and ensure the quality of deliverables, meeting deadlines (taxes, financial reports, taxes, etc.), while streamlining processes for both the team and clients.
In human resources management, you will participate in recruitment, integration, and professional development of employees, ensuring their well-being and the profitability of the payroll. You will also contribute to continuous process improvement and the creation of new tools to ensure operational efficiency.
You will prepare performance indicator reports to support strategic decision-making and analyze budget variances to propose corrective actions. Finally, you will participate in the company’s strategic planning, contributing to the development of the action plan and the annual budget.
Profile
A bilingual CPA with at least 8 years of relevant experience in both public practice and industry, including a few years in team management. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the consulting field, with a strong understanding of the challenges specific to this sector.
We are looking for someone with strong facilitation skills who can motivate their team, especially in times of change. The candidate should be able to support their colleagues effectively, foster their professional development, and manage transitions smoothly. A well-developed business sense and a customer and results-oriented approach will be essential to succeed in this role, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
