You will work closely with a President who is focused on communication, support, collegiality and delivery. You will also be the business partner for sales, operations, R&D, product management and legal for major contracts and federal and defense procurement compliance. We're looking for a CFO who can bridge the gap between operations and finance to analyze financial performance and propose solutions to increase the company's profitability.
As CFO and leader of a local team and another in Asia, your challenge will be to operationalize the strategic business plan to ensure sound management of the company and to transmit the necessary financial information to the Board of Directors and investors, including information for the two foreign subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will be the President's right-hand man, overseeing the production of financial statements and responsible for audits (mostly handled by the Controller, except for financial instruments, stock options and SR&ED credits) in collaboration with a Big 4. In addition, he manages management accounting, budgets and the financial structure. He will act as a leader in financing activities and as an expert advisor on acquisitions, potential changes in shareholding and divestments.

This is a high-profile role, as you will be in contact with the accounting staff, the 2 legal advisors under your supervision, all management teams, investors, customers and suppliers in the context of strategic partnerships, as well as the Board of Directors.
Dynamic bilingual executive with a high energy level who has worked as #1 finance with over 10 years of relevant experience and holds a CPA designation. Results-oriented candidate with expertise in transactional finance, strategic planning and private and/or public financing. The successful CFO will have at least one post-acquisition integration and experience in international trade (buying and selling products around the world). Knowledge of the manufacturing and high-tech sectors (intellectual property - R&D credits) and of international and US taxation are definite assets.
We're looking for a technology (ERP) and business intelligence-oriented candidate who has had a major impact on company growth, profitability and strategic direction. Acquisitions, financing, risk or opportunity analysis (contracts, partnerships...) are a must and must be part of the CFO's background.
