Description

Opportunity at the head office of an international SME in the manufacturing sector with a multi-site context in an environment focused on innovation and growth mode. You will be the right-hand man of the corporate controller, a competent, friendly open-door manager, appreciated by his peers and senior management. 

Your tasks will be very diversified: production of financial statements for Canadian, American and European entities; improvement and standardization of processes and systems, BI for each entity; you will actively participate in the budget process and quarterly variance analysis. You will also support CAPEX monitoring, consolidation and acquisition pro-formats.

Profile

Bilingual CPA with 3 to 5 years experience with financial statements, accounting policies/standards, a process improvement approach and advanced Excel knowledge, as well as multi-site and multi-currency background. Ideally, if the candidate had knowledge of or interest in the budgetary aspect of the business, this would be a great asset for our client. The candidate we are looking for is autonomous, dynamic and has good communication skills. He is able to question himself, challenge the status quo and is in solution mode. A combination of experience in the firm (manufacturing clients) and/or manufacturing industry is required.
