Description

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a financial director who will play a key role in the company’s financial strategy and development. With a dynamic team in a mid-sized SME, you will benefit from a flexible work environment, with three days per week in the office. You will report directly to a friendly president who offers a lot of autonomy and flexibility. This position will allow you to have a direct impact on the company's growth while collaborating with experienced leaders in a strategic context.

As the financial director, your main task will be to develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with its overall objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing budget planning, preparing short-, medium-, and long-term financial forecasts, while ensuring optimal cash flow and working capital management. You will also monitor the company’s financial performance and make recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability. You will be involved in overseeing accounting aspects, ensuring that financial statements comply with accounting, tax, and regulatory standards, while working with auditors and relevant authorities to ensure impeccable compliance.

As part of financial risk management, you will need to identify, assess, and implement mitigation strategies to protect the company from economic uncertainties. You will also be responsible for relationships with banks and investors, while overseeing financial contracts to ensure their viability. You will play a key role in optimizing financial processes by implementing performance indicators (KPIs) and leveraging the ERP system being introduced in early 2025 to optimize financial and accounting data flows.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and leading the finance team, ensuring effective collaboration with other departments to ensure integrated management. You will also actively participate in the company’s strategic decisions, providing financial expertise to support expansion and investment projects. You will promote innovation within financial processes and encourage the integration of new technologies to improve operational efficiency and performance.

This is a great opportunity for a manager who wants to be involved in managing the growth and profitability of a dynamic SME.

Profile

A bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in management and project-based work, who will be a strategic leader capable of guiding decisions at the highest level. This role requires active participation in the management committee, where you will be expected to articulate and defend strategic choices based on precise, data-driven analyses.

The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to transform complex data into clear and understandable decisions and be capable of challenging existing processes to bring innovative solutions. You should have natural leadership skills and be comfortable in an environment where ideas are debated, particularly with highly skilled technical profiles such as engineers. The ability to assert your voice with confidence and poise will be essential.

You will also need to demonstrate agility and speed in decision-making, while knowing how to evolve methods and tools within the department.

The sought-after profile must be dynamic, forward-thinking, and have a clear vision for the department's evolution, while maintaining the strategic stability necessary to ensure the organization’s success.
