For a rapidly growing international SME specializing in the IT services industry, you will work as the Corporate Controller in a dynamic, cohesive, and youthful team. As the Corporate Controller, your main responsibility will be to optimize financial processes, focusing on KPIs and reporting. Your goal will be to establish a solid foundation and maximize the automation of financial processes. This includes the implementation and continuous improvement of budgeting and modeling tools to ensure effective tracking of financial projections. You will also work on streamlining revenue recognition and financial close processes to ensure greater efficiency and accuracy.
Additionally, you will oversee the preparation and timely delivery of external financial statements, managing revenue recognition and monthly financial close processes. You will be actively involved in preparing monthly reports for the executive team and providing detailed explanations of variances between forecasted and actual results. You will also manage consolidated financial audits, including statutory audits for the UK and review engagements for South Africa and Colombia.
As part of your responsibilities, you will also supervise the multi-currency consolidation, done through the company's ERP system, and manage the minority interest in consolidated entities. You will be involved in complex financial processes, including revenue recognition under IFRS 15 for SaaS, managing standard price allocations, tracking internally developed assets, and applying IFRS 16 standards for acquisitions.
Finally, you will be responsible for managing your team, which consists of two financial reporting analysts and four revenue specialists. You will support them to ensure optimal performance while overseeing the management of their tasks. You will also be responsible for month-end reporting, reviewing your team's work, and assisting them in closing the month while explaining any variances.
A perfectly bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, including a few years in IT – SAAS, with a strong knowledge of IFRS standards, Microsoft Office, and Netsuite. Experience with IFRS 15 in the technology sector is a plus.

They must also be organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills, while being detail-oriented without getting overwhelmed.
