Description

A dynamic and growing SME in the retail/manufacturing sector, offering innovative and high-quality products, is looking for a controller to join its team. The company works with renowned clients and has several exciting projects underway. You will report to an honest and fair manager who values autonomy. As a controller, your primary responsibility will be to manage the full accounting cycle of the company and support the Finance Director on various corporate projects. You will handle all activities related to accounting and payroll.

You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating the annual budgeting process, preparing financial statements and other month-end and year-end reports, as well as providing monthly analysis and variance explanations.

Additionally, you will manage cash flow, review accounting methods, auditing processes, budget control, collections, and financing, and implement improvements where necessary. You will ensure that investment projects are monitored and verified for profitability (investment budget tracking).

You will prepare and coordinate the year-end external audit with external auditors, manage tax-related matters in cooperation with accounting firms and tax advisors, and lead the accounting team (7 people).

You will also be involved in the implementation of an ERP system.

Profile

Bilingual candidate with at least 5 years of experience (preferably as a controller) who excels in operational tasks (experience in the manufacturing or retail sector is a plus). We are looking for a dynamic and proactive candidate who can confidently take charge and work independently. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in Excel, very organized, and able to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines.
