Description
Our client, a dynamic SME in the trending high-tech sector, is looking for its future controller. This innovative company has global clients and is constantly growing. The position will allow you to bring real added value to the company. The role is offered in a hybrid model.
As a controller, your main mission will be to structure and optimize financial processes within the team, in a high-growth environment. During your first few months, you will be responsible for setting up the necessary processes for financial management, while ensuring the reliability of consolidated data, particularly during the monthly closing of accounts. Your goal will be to make this process smoother and more efficient, ensuring that the closing is completed within 2 to 3 weeks.
You will need to work closely with all branches of the company to ensure simple yet rigorous consolidation of financial data. The complexity will lie in managing costs, accounts payable, as well as allocating financial responsibilities across the different entities. You will need to ensure that each branch follows the established processes while making the necessary adjustments to optimize their management.
As part of this role, you will also be responsible for internal reporting, providing clear and accurate information to your leader and other teams. You will also prepare a post-funding audit to ensure compliance with financial practices and smooth operations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the financial processes within the team are effective and well-monitored, while allowing for continuous optimization.
Profile
Bilingual CPA with a minimum of five years of combined experience in accounting and finance, with a solid understanding of accounting processes and requirements in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in accounting principles, monthly and annual closing procedures, and the preparation of financial statements in a multi-entity context. They will effectively manage complex processes while ensuring the reliability and compliance of financial information.
A strong proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite, is a significant asset. Experience with tools like Wagepoint and/or Paychex will also enable you to optimize payroll and reporting processes within the team. Your ability to use these tools will allow you to work smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the rigor needed for proper financial management.
We are looking for someone with a keen attention to detail, who will take responsibility for the accuracy of financial statements. Autonomy is a key skill, as you will work directly with the CFO in a management approach that promotes trust and independence. You will also need to demonstrate impeccable organization to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while respecting deadlines and priorities. As a member of a startup team, your adaptability will be a valuable asset. You must be able to work dynamically, responding quickly to challenges and providing effective solutions on a daily basis
