As a controller, you will be responsible for managing the daily accounting for a portfolio of clients. You will optimize the use of the company’s automated systems to maximize efficiency, relying on a technician for recurring tasks. You will be responsible for preparing the financial reports necessary for managing the business, allowing your clients to make informed and strategic decisions for their development.
You will also act as the primary point of contact for a business client base, analyzing their financial reports and addressing their various accounting needs. You will assist your clients in achieving their growth projects, working closely with legal and HR teams to provide integrated and personalized service.
Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting your colleagues in accounting, contributing to their professional development, and helping them overcome daily challenges. Your ability to guide and train the team will be essential to maintaining a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally with experience in both public practice and industry, and a strong understanding of accounting standards and practices. The ideal candidate must demonstrate autonomy in managing their responsibilities, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. A strong ability to independently solve complex accounting problems is also essential, along with impeccable organization to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.
The ideal profile should possess excellent communication skills, particularly in simplifying complex financial information and helping clients make informed decisions. A strong aptitude for financial analysis will be required to identify key elements in financial reports and spot relevant trends for management.
