Description

Our client, a local SME in the trending entertainment sector, is looking for their finance leader to work in a very entrepreneurial environment. You will report to a manager who is attentive, the opposite of a micro-manager, and provides a lot of flexibility. You will have the opportunity to join a creative company with excellent revenue. The position is offered in a hybrid model.

As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing budgets, financial projections, and cash flow to ensure optimal management of the company's financial resources. You will also develop a strategic financial plan while overseeing a team, ensuring its performance and development. Financial planning will be at the heart of your role, relying on in-depth analysis to anticipate and guide the company’s decisions.

Your role will also include continuous team training, ensuring the transmission of best practices and skills necessary for team members to excel in their roles. You will be responsible for regularly comparing the forecasted budget with actual results, identifying discrepancies, and adjusting financial strategies accordingly.

You will manage a large number of financial transactions across multiple bank accounts, depending on the various entities under your responsibility. In addition, you will act as a financial advisor to artists, guiding them in managing their personal and professional finances to make informed decisions. This position requires great attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex financial issues while providing strong leadership to your team.

This is a great opportunity for a manager who wants to get involved in managing the growth and profitability of a dynamic SME.

Profile

A bilingual CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a large company, who can also adapt to a creative and dynamic environment. You must be able to work in an organized manner, balancing structure and flexibility. The ideal candidate should also feel comfortable in a more artistic setting, with an intrapreneurial approach. You must be capable of intervening in complex processes while being detail-oriented.

You will supervise a small team consisting of a clerk and a technician, so it’s important to work collaboratively while providing continuous support to your colleagues. A good mastery of technological tools, particularly Quickbooks, would be a valuable asset.

We are looking for someone eager to commit to a long-term stable position, ready to evolve within this growing organization while making a positive contribution to the development of the company.
