Description

Our client, an SME specializing in wine representation and brand development for its clients, is looking for a Finance Director. You will work in an entrepreneurial environment where your role will be strategic and "hands-on." You will report to a results-oriented, rigorous, and involved manager, who will offer flexibility while being highly focused on goals. You will be responsible for understanding the company’s business model in depth, establishing solid financial processes, and participating in future strategic decisions, particularly regarding the company's acquisitions. The position is offered in a hybrid mode.

During the first six months, the Finance Director will focus on improving internal processes, particularly those related to month-end closing, invoicing, and payment collection. This will involve analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing rigorous procedures to ensure smooth and rapid financial flow management, especially given the long payment terms. This process optimization phase aims to provide better cash flow visibility and minimize financial risks for the company.

Once these processes are established, the role will take on a more strategic dimension. You will actively participate in decisions concerning future acquisitions, collaborating with management to analyze external growth opportunities and supporting the integration process of new entities. Additionally, you will need to address challenges related to exchange rates, particularly due to international transactions or costs in foreign currencies. You will be responsible for developing hedging strategies or risk mitigation plans to protect the company's profitability. This strategic phase will be crucial for supporting the company’s evolution and its long-term consolidation in the market.

This is a great opportunity for a manager who wants to get involved in managing the growth and profitability of a dynamic SME.

Profile

Bilingual CPA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an SME or start-up, who can also adapt to a creative and dynamic environment. You must be able to work in an organized manner, balancing structure with flexibility. You will supervise 2 people, so it will be important that you can work collaboratively while providing constant support to your colleagues.

We are looking for a rigorous and dynamic individual, eager to commit to a stable long-term position, ready to grow within this expanding organization while making a positive contribution to the company's development.
