For a highly reputable, fast-growing SME in the service and distribution sector, you will work as a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting. You will report to a manager who Cielo has placed in his position and whom we greatly appreciate. He is very competent and appreciated. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and validating individual and consolidated financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and reliability. You will also review the reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring their compliance with current standards and practices.

You will design, implement and govern internal control processes, ensuring the rigor of financial controls. You will also be responsible for preparing and managing the external audit, ensuring that all audit requests from tax authorities are dealt with effectively and on time.

As part of your role, you will provide valuable support to the accounting team in resolving complex accounting issues. You will maintain general ledger master data and financial statement templates, while calculating and analyzing quarterly financial ratios required by the bank.

You will also contribute to special projects and specific mandates, as required by the company. Finally, you will perform all other related tasks to support financial excellence within the organization.

Profile

CPA (or in the process of obtaining one), with a minimum of 4 years' experience, ideally acquired in an accounting firm. The candidate must be proficient in advanced technical tools, in particular Power BI, for financial reporting, and have a good command of ERP accounting software. The ability to analyze complex accounting issues and manage balance sheet accounts is essential.

He/she must be able to make informed decisions based on financial data and provide strategic recommendations to support teams in their decision-making. The ideal candidate will not only be able to validate financial statements accurately, but also to provide innovative solutions to optimize the efficiency of financial processes. As the Accounting Manager's right-hand man, he will be responsible for the final validation of financial information and will play a key role in the implementation of Power BI within the team. His analytical mind and desire to push the boundaries will make him a key player in this dynamic and fast-growing environment.
