Our client, a large, well-established and fast-growing construction company is looking for a Finance Manager to support and drive the company's growth. You will report to a very open-minded VP of Finance, who will involve you extensively in business strategies. He opts for a participative management style and always keeps his door open. The position is offered in hybrid mode, with flexible working hours.
As Finance Director, you'll have a fairly strategic role that will enable you to really make a difference in the company. You will optimize financial and operational processes to improve quality and efficiency, and reduce closing times.
You'll be responsible for managing a team of 11 people, as well as the entire accounting cycle.
In addition, you will ensure sound accounts receivable management with the credit officer under your responsibility, and manage cash flow.
You'll also support the team implementing a new ERP and take charge of subsidy programs offered by government agencies.
Finally, you'll be responsible for preparing files for the year-end audit and participating in due diligence for business acquisitions.

Dynamic and reliable CPA with a minimum of 5 years' experience or more in a position with similar responsibilities and/or in an accounting firm. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial streak, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate troubled waters and organize to manage changing priorities.
The Finance Director is a good popularizer, a good coach and has good business acumen or the ability to progress rapidly from a strategic point of view.
